Terms of Service

Last updated: September 15, 2026.

These Terms of Service govern use of dermlore.com (the “Site”). Dermlore is owned by Dr. Bardov and operated editorially by the Dermlore team. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Educational publication, not medical care

Dermlore is an educational dermatology and skincare publication, not a medical practice or telemedicine service. Site content and tools do not create a doctor-patient relationship and do not provide personal medical advice, diagnosis, prescribing, or treatment. See the Medical Disclaimer.

Tools

Interactive tools are provided for general educational purposes only. Tool outputs depend on limited rule sets and ingredient libraries and may be incomplete. They do not determine whether a product, ingredient, or routine is medically appropriate for an individual. You are responsible for reviewing product labels and instructions and for seeking professional advice where appropriate.

Permitted use

You may use the Site for personal, lawful, non-commercial informational purposes. You may not misuse the Site, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious code, scrape or reproduce substantial portions of the Site at scale, or use Dermlore content in a way that falsely implies endorsement, authorship, or medical approval.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, Dermlore owns or licenses the Site’s original text, design, graphics, tools, and other original materials. You may quote brief portions with appropriate attribution and a link to the source, but you may not republish substantial content, reproduce tools, or commercially redistribute Dermlore materials without permission. Third-party trademarks, research, images, and linked materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Accuracy and availability

We work to keep information useful and current, but medicine, cosmetics, formulations, product availability, and evidence change. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, current, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Products, affiliate links, and third parties

The Site may in the future contain product examples, advertising, sponsorships, or affiliate links. Commercial relationships must be disclosed as described in the Affiliate Disclosure. Dermlore does not control third-party retailers, manufacturers, websites, prices, stock, shipping, policies, claims, or transactions and is not responsible for them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dermlore and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or similar damages arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Site, its tools, content, third-party links, or products mentioned on the Site. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for how you use information obtained from the Site. Do not use Dermlore as a substitute for emergency care, professional diagnosis, or individualized medical treatment.

Changes and availability

We may modify, suspend, remove, or update Site features, content, or these Terms. Material revisions will be reflected by an updated date on this page. We may restrict access where necessary to protect the Site, comply with law, or address abuse.

Severability

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

Applicable law

These Terms are subject to applicable law. Nothing in them is intended to waive rights that cannot legally be waived in a visitor’s jurisdiction. A more specific governing-law and venue clause should be added if Dermlore begins operating through a formally identified business entity or where counsel determines one is appropriate.
